MoolaMantra

Om
Sat Chit Ananda Parabrahma
Purushothama Paramatma
Sri Bhagavathi Sametha
Sri Bhagavathe Namaha

Translation:
Oh Divine Force, Spirit of All Creation,
Highest Personality,
Divine Presence, manifest in every living being.
Supreme Soul manifested as the Divine Mother
and as the Divine Father.

The Peace which passeth understanding.

This mantra evokes the living God, asking protection and freedom from all sorrow and suffering. It is a prayer that adores the great creator and liberator, who out of love and compassion manifests, to protect us, in an earthly form. This Moolamantra has given great peace and joy to people all over the world, who have chanted, or even listened to it. It has the power to transport ones mind to the state of causeless love and limitless joy. The calmness that the mantra can give is to be experienced, not spoken about. Dear reader, here is the key with which any door to spiritual treasure could be opened. A tool which can be used to achieve all desires. A medicine which cures all ills. The nectar that can set man free! All auspiciousness and serenity is yours simply by chanting or listening to this magnificent Moolamantra.

Whenever you chant the Moolamantra even without knowing the meaning of it, that itself carries power. But when you know the meaning and chant with that feeling in your heart then the energy would flow million times more powerful. Therefore it is essential to know the meaning of the Mantra when you use it.

The Mantra is like calling a name. Just like when you call a person he comes and makes you feel his presence, the same manner when you chant this mantra, the supreme energy manifests everywhere around you. As the Universe is Omnipresent, the supreme energy can manifest anywhere and any time. It is also very important to know that the invocation with all humility, respect and with great necessity makes the presence stronger.

Simplified meaning of the moola mantra

Om – We are calling on the highest energy, of all there is

Sat – The formless

Chit – Consciousness of the universe

 Full Meaning

Om Om has 100 different meanings. It is said ‘In the beginning was the Supreme word and the word created every thing. That word is Om’. If you are meditating in silence deeply, you can hear the sound Om within. The whole creation emerged from the sound Om. It is the primordial sound or the Universal sound by which the whole universe vibrates. Om also means inviting the higher energy. This divine sound has the power to create, sustain and destroy, giving life and movement to all that exist.
Sat Chit Ananda
Sat The all penetrating existence that is formless, shapeless, omnipresent, attribute less, and quality less aspect of the Universe. It is the Un manifest. It is experienced as emptiness of the Universe. We could say it is the body of the Universe that is static. Every thing that has a form and that can be sensed, evolved out of this Un manifest. It is so subtle that it is beyond all perceptions. It can only be seen when it has become gross and has taken form. We are in the Universe and the Universe is in us. We are the effect and Universe is the cause and the cause manifests itself as the effect.
Chit The Pure Consciousness of the Universe that is infinite, omni-present manifesting power of the Universe. Out of this is evolved everything that we call Dynamic energy or force. It can manifest in any form or shape. It is the consciousness manifesting as motion, as gravitation, as magnetism, etc. It is also manifesting as the actions of the body, as thought force. It is the Supreme Spirit.
Ananda Bliss, love and friendship nature of the Universe. When you experience either the Supreme Energy in this Creation (Sat) and become one with the Existence or experience the aspect of Pure Consciousness (Chit), you enter into a state of Divine Bliss and eternal happiness (Ananda). This is the primordial characteristic of the Universe, which is the greatest and most profound state of ecstasy that you can ever experience when you relate with your higher Consciousness.
Parabrahma The Supreme Being in his Absolute aspect; one who is beyond space and time. It is the essence of the Universe that is with form and without form. It is the Supreme creator.
Purushothama This has different meanings. Purusha means soul and Uthama means the supreme, the Supreme spirit. It also means the supreme energy of force guiding us from the highest world. Purusha also means Man, and Purushothama is the energy that incarnates as an Avatar to help and guide Mankind and relate closely to the beloved Creation.
Paramatma The supreme inner energy that is immanent in every creature and in all beings, living and non-living. It’s the indweller or the Antaryamin who resides formless or in any form desired. It’s the force that can come to you whenever you want and wherever you want to guide and help you.
Sri Bhagavathi The female aspect, which is characterized as the Supreme Intelligence in action, the Power (The Shakti). It is referred to the Mother Earth (Divine Mother) aspect of the creation.
Sametha Together or in communion with.
Sri Bhagavathe The Male aspect of the Creation, which is unchangeable and permanent.
Namaha Salutations or prostrations to the Universe that is Om and also has the qualities of Sat Chit Ananda, that is omnipresent, unchangeable and changeable at the same time, the supreme spirit in a human form and formless, the indweller that can guide and help in the feminine and masculine forms with the supreme intelligence. I seek your presence and guidance all the time.

Sat-Chit-Ananda

Sat-Chit-Ananda is a triple consciousness. Sat is existence, Chit is consciousness and Ananda is bliss. You can separate them if you want to and, at the same time, you can take them as one. If one achieves Existence, then inside Existence he has Consciousness itself. And if one has Consciousness, then Bliss is there. It is like an apartment or plot of land. You can give the plot of land one name or, if you want to divide it, each part of the plot can be called by a different name. But the reality of one is bound to be found in the other. They complement one another. So you can either separate them or keep them as one.

Sat-Chit-Ananda is the triple consciousness on the highest plane, and that plane is for the absolutely chosen few. To reach Sat-Chit-Ananda is a most difficult thing. Hardly twenty or thirty Masters have reached it and stayed at that plane, and hardly one or two can embody it. Some Masters have reached that plane and immediately came down because it was too high for them. It is much easier for people to reach the illumined mind or the Supermind, but Sat-Chit-Ananda is absolutely the highest. That consciousness is almost impossible to attain, even for the spiritual Masters. (God, Avatars and Yogis)

To be sure, the Kingdom of Heaven is more than just a mere plane, like other planes. It is a plane of divine Consciousness. It is a state of Realization. It embodies Sat-Chit-Ananda. Sat is divine Existence, Chit is divine Consciousness, Ananda is divine Bliss. When we go deep within we feel these three together, and when we acquire the inner vision to perceive them all at once, we live verily in the Kingdom of Heaven. Otherwise, Existence is at one place, Consciousness is somewhere else and Bliss is nowhere near the other two. When we see and feel Existence-Consciousness-Bliss on the selfsame plane, each complementing and fulfilling the others, we can say that we live in the Kingdom of Heaven. Yes, the Kingdom of Heaven is within us. Not only can we feel it, but without the least possible doubt, we can become it.

What Are Binaural Beats?

If two different sound tones are played into each ear, the brain will attempt to find a balance; for example, if the frequency of sound in your left ear is 430Hz, and the frequency you’re hearing in your right ear is 420Hz, your brain will process a binaural beat of 10Hz. These binaural beats are not actually heard, since they are below the natural range of human hearing, but you can often “hear” a sort of “humming” inside the center of your head, as the binaural beat.

It’s been discovered by science that these binaural beats can elicit responses in the brain; the brain becomes “entrained”, which means it starts to resonate at the same frequency as the binaural beat. When this happens, it can change the listener’s brain wave patterns temporarily. This can have a huge effect; binaural beats are highly effective at inducing meditative and hypnotic states. This is a great breakthrough for anyone wanted to learn meditation, but didn’t have the time or teacher to learn how. This type of meditation is also more effective than ordinary meditation, because of the binaural beats. Binaural beats can reduce your stress levels, the amount of sleep you need, calm your thoughts, and it can increase such things as intelligence, intuition and creativity.

When these Binaural Beats are added to a self hypnosis CD, they increase the power of the meditation.

What Can Binaural Beats Do For Me?

Using binaural beats can:

* Safely and easily take you to a state of deep meditation.

* Stimulate the creation of new neural pathways between the right and left hemispheres of your brain, leading you to a high performance state called whole brain functioning.

* Dramatically improves your learning ability, memory, intuition, creativity, your ability to focus, concentrate and think more clearly.

* Create quantum leaps in your personal self awareness.

* Significantly lower your stress levels and calm your thoughts.

* Create improvements in your mental and emotional health, even areas that have stubbornly resisted change with other approaches.

* Dramatically increase your production of vital brain chemicals related to your longevity, well-being, and quality of life.

♥ The Ascended Master Akasha :

Today I wish to introduce a new idea to you. It is part of the Divine Plan. It is something that you agreed upon and that as you entered upon the great path of resurrection you would enter into a conscious daily conversation with your I AM Presence that is your true great God Self.

These conversations don’t have to be long but I do encourage you to start writing some letters to your Presence, using a journal and you write one page. The whole idea is to enter into a daily dialogue with your Presence and be able to chart what unfolds so that you can start charting the difference that it is making.

I say to each of you, as long as you do not succumb to the appearance side of life and teach yourself that in all things there is always solution and to make that such a sovereign attitude, unbreakable in your being. To all things that appear in the world and that appear in people’s lives there is always solution.

Start talking to your Presence a little bit more strongly, more intimately, more personally and bring to the Presence that which you face each day.

Letters to the Presence can be a wonderful experience where you are communing:

“Oh Beloved I AM, I just love to greet you. You are my true glorious God Self. Oh Beloved I AM, come forth and express your Presence through my joy. Express your Presence through the intelligence of my mind. Come forth and express Thy Will through my feeling side of life. As I go on about my daily activities, Beloved I AM that I am, I seek not to do one thing without being certain that Thy Presence is expressing through my mind, my thoughts, my feelings, my actions, my decisions, my desires, my hopes, dreams, my aspirations. I look to you Beloved I AM, Infinite and Divine Consciousness, expressing through my being and world and in all that I am seeking to accomplish.

And where there are challenges, Mighty I AM Presence, I look to you. I look to you for a solution here. And when I enter out into the world, when I’m working alongside others and there are challenges that rise up or disagreements or arguments, let me remember that Thy Presence abides in everyone else’s heart whether they know it or not. I know it and that’s the difference; I know it. | Track 18 | And it is no longer acceptable to me when I am out working in the world not to bring your presence into everything that I am doing.

I am ready for miracles. I am ready to observe your Presence being the solution to every problem, to every appearance, to every disagreement, whatever that is, I just love to look to you, Beloved I AM, to come forth and be the revelation, to be the answer. Connect me at all times with the right people, in the right place, at the right time. Offer Thy guiding Presence. I wish to come to that place that I know that when I am thinking I am thinking constructively; that when I am thinking there is a vein of Higher Intelligence that is expressing through my thoughts, through my intuitions, through my field of resonance and sensitivity.

In my Resurrection up into Thy glorious Presence, I offer to you that which are factors of resonance, intuition, sensitivity, to be that which is taken up by you. And Beloved I AM, when I am out in the world make sure that I am shielded, that I never take on the discord that is generated by others. Seal my in Thy great Cosmic Tube of Light that makes me invisible, invincible to the discord that yet remains in the outer world.

Oh Beloved I AM, keep me ahead of time constantly aware of all that I might face and always, always, always send forth Thy Presence out in front of me. Beloved I AM, keep me mindful and in deep comprehension of the words of the prophet, ‘There can be a Presence that goeth before me and doeth all things’.

Oh Beloved I AM, I know that Thy jewel abides within my heart and the nature of your expression is Perfection. Beloved I AM, I have heard that Akasha will decree from her temples that you now begin to unleash your Presence, your Power and Perfection from Thy great God centre within and that I am in this year of 2011 to call upon you, ‘Beloved I AM inside me, come forth and RELEASE, UNLEASH, TRANSLATE, INTERPRET your Perfection.’ I understand what this means. I am acknowledging Thy Presence within. I know that your Presence is Omnipresence, Omnipotence, Omniscience, All-Knowing, All-Loving, everywhere present, Infinite Perfection.

You are awake, in fact, it is your presence inside my heart that has awakened me and you are awake. And by my efforts, by all the meditations in the past, every time I’ve turned my attention within, every time I’ve acknowledged, every time I have decreed, your Presence has grown within me, awake and active, and now your Presence, in this year, 2011, the first year of our stepping onto the path of resurrection, the next great activity is to unleash Thy Presence, Thy Power throughout my being and world.

How will this occur? Well Beloved I AM, my Ascended Master teachers are reminding me that not even you, nothing can get into my outer world of form, of experience, of substance; nothing can get into my outer world including you, my own Beloved I Am Presence, without that first abiding inside my consciousness. So when I say to you, Beloved I AM, I acknowledge that you are awake, I acknowledge that you are active and I am using my free will, I am speaking to you, my own great God Self to UNLEASH the power of your Perfection. INTERPRET and TRANSLATE your Perfection through my consciousness. And it is through this great activity that you will unleash the Christ I AM ultimately as the only acting activity within my consciousness.

Beloved I Am, in these letters that I am writing to you each day, Akasha and Asun and many of the Ascended Host are coming forth and teaching us in these end days. Akasha suggests we use this phrase, ‘Beloved I AM within my heart, come forth and unleash, interpret and translate your Perfection into and through my consciousness.’ Do I have an understanding of this? Oh Beloved I AM, let me try because I understand that to have that understanding inside me, it can then unfold outside of me.

I have a consciousness and I have a much greater understanding today of consciousness than I had yesterday. I understand that consciousness is infinite, yet we have not experienced the infinite nature of our consciousness because we, as human beings, fell into a deep dream, a nightmare, and dreamed the tree of knowledge of good and evil. In this, we as creator beings, created something that never existed in our consciousness before we ever came to the Earth.

We, as creator beings, used your Power, Beloved I AM, as creator beings to dream opposites, to dream duality and to dream the experience of fear. I understand now. I am awake. I understand that fear has contracted, limited and placed my consciousness in a box of belief systems fostered by a belief in two powers. In my process of awakening, Beloved I AM, I have discovered that you can offer me the Sacred Fire, and beyond you, I can go to the Great Ones and the angels to get that Sacred Fire to sweep into my being and world to begin, by my command, to take that fear right out of my being and world; right out of my consciousness so that my consciousness can begin to do what it was intended to do – expand and once again be infinite.

Oh Beloved I AM, in these days of resurrection I am having great epiphany. I am having great awakening. I am leaning upon those mighty words, ‘I AM here, I AM there, I AM everywhere’. This ‘I’ that speaks, this is my True Self. This is you speaking and this mighty statement reveals that I AM is consciousness and the only way this mighty statement can be and be fulfilled and experienced is because I AM is Infinite Consciousness; therefore there is no place that your consciousness, that I am an individualization of, is not present. Aahh . . it feels good to awaken and to be aware of these things. Yet Beloved Presence in the letters that I am writing to you each day . .”

And by now this might be 4/5 letters; you only have to write a page but my idea here is that this, being part of the Divine Plan, that you would start writing a letter to the Presence each day and tomorrow you would pick that up and continue your letter. Do you understand? There is an unfoldment here dear hearts.

And so as I continue to write to you my Beloved Presence. I’m really interested in comprehending, in understanding the words that Akasha seems to use with purpose. She is inviting us to acknowledge your Presence but she’s also encouraging us to use certain phrases and terms that are new. Akasha is saying for us to call upon Thy Presence and Power to unleash itself and interpret your Perfection through our consciousness. I’d like to examine this phrase with you, Beloved I AM, to make sure I understand inside me what this means so that it can unfold in my outer life.

I am gaining a greater appreciation now that I really ought not to try so hard to correct things in the outer world; that I ought first to seek to make the change inside me and then allow that change to unfold in the outer world experience. I get this now and I make that commitment more and more that if I wish something to show up in my outer life that I must first plant the seeds of that inside my consciousness. I get that.

But right now, Beloved I Am, I’m really interested in this phrase that Akasha is using, ‘Come forth Beloved I Am and UNLEASH Thy Power and INTERPRET, TRANSLATE your Perfection through my consciousness.’ Beloved I Am, let’s explore this idea.

I know that I am conscious. I am aware that I have a consciousness. I have a facility, a faculty of consciousness that I can use and I know that I use that every day, yet, I have not really allowed that consciousness to go too far and within my consciousness are many things. Within my consciousness is all my thinking, my feeling, every belief that has come my way, everything my sight has ever registered. I understand that even within my consciousness is intellect. I understand through the studies that the intellect can be likened to a library. It is the great storehouse of all information that has come to me through my faculties. What I have seen, what I have read, what I have heard – all that has come to me through the sense faculties of the experience side of life is what stores itself in the intellect and becomes the vast library as a reference point if there is something that I wish to go into that library and refer to for something that is a future decision. So I understand that this is part of my consciousness – intellect.

Now, Beloved I AM, I heard years ago a dictation from Akasha on the Holy Spirit vs. the ego and I understand that these are two activities of consciousness as well. And today, Beloved Presence, I’m going to approach this in the following way. The ego is likened to the male energy and the Holy Spirit is likened to the female energy – Light and Love. I understand, that because of the ‘fall from grace’, that the Holy Spirit, the Love of consciousness, has not been plentiful within my consciousness. Without the Love, without that Spirit, the male energy, the ego is thrown out of balance, thus the term, ‘altered ego’. In my awakening, in my choice for peace, in my remembering to live from the heart and all these wonderful goodies, I trust Beloved Presence, that these wonderful faculties you gave me are now not altered; that the ego is back in balance and the door into my consciousness is open and the Holy Spirit is releasing itself into.

So, Beloved I AM, let me see if I have this right. The role of the ego is to file all data that comes to me from the outer world through the senses – sense of sight, touch, hearing etc. I understand that this is the true role of the ego that all that comes to me through the senses, that you store this in the intellect aspect of consciousness.

Now, what I’m really interested in, Beloved I AM, because I understand for the most part my ego is back into a balanced state and this is a good thing. So as I seek to comprehend this phrase that Akasha says to us these days and I’m realizing there’s a number of other things I must understand first. The phrase that I’m seeking to really comprehend, Beloved I Am, again, is this phrase Akasha asks us to greet you.

“Beloved I AM, you are awake and active within me and I am calling upon you to UNLEASH your Power and Perfection, TRANSLATE, INTERPRET your Perfection through my consciousness.” This is what I am truly interested in interpreting.

So as I continue to write my daily letters to you I am trusting that I am gaining a deeper conversation with you and opening the way for an amazing epiphany and so I have been rethinking and remembering what the intellect – it’s the great storehouse that the ego in its balanced state is to store in the intellect all that is coming through the faculties of sense. I’ve got that right. So what is the next thing perhaps Beloved Presence that I might desire to remember. Aahh yes, the role of the Holy Spirit in consciousness vs. the role of ego. I’ve reviewed the role of the ego in a balanced state so what is the role of the Holy Spirit? (deep breath) I will just pause on this for a moment . .

the four noble truths

power of language blog: partnering with reality by JR Fibonacci

This is a lesson based on a tradition called “the four noble truths.” Briefly, those truths are the first truth of suffering, the second truth of the cause of suffering, the third truth of the discontinuing of the cause of suffering, and the fourth truth of the way to live life after suffering.

The first truth of suffering involves relating to life as if there is some part of life that should not be how it is. Suffering is not simply pain or illness or old age or dying or even violence. Suffering is a way of relating to life. Suffering involves ill will as in contempt as in enduring madness as in mental illness as in agonizing as in hell. While there are a variety of forms and intensities of suffering, what I mean by the word suffering includes all of them.

The second truth of the…

the four noble truths of Landmark Education & NLP

power of language blog: partnering with reality by JR Fibonacci

I received a comment on the prior blog which led to the following exchange:

I have been studying Buddhism for around 20 years and recently I saw some Youtube content from Tony Parsons and Mooji (as well as Alan Watts) that demonstrated a practical clarity regarding these basic Buddhist teachings (of the four noble truths)- not just a familiarity with the words, but a direct experience of the principles.

I also credit Landmark Education and their distinction “upset,” which is similar to the Buddhist distinction (translated in to English) of “suffering.” Here are the “four noble truths” revised to use the term upset rather than the term suffering:

1) there is such a thing as the experience of an upset.

2) An upset is triggered not just by one thing, but by a sequence of misinterpretations or misconceptions or “undistinguished” reactions.

3) Upsets can be “de-constructed” or dissolved…

What Does It Mean To Let Go?

To “let go” does not mean to stop caring. It means I can’t do it for someone else.

To “let go” is not to cut myself off. It’s the realization that I can’t control another.

To “let go” is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.

To “let go” is not to try to change or blame another. It’s to make the most of myself.

To “let go” is not to care for, but to care about.

To “let go” is not to fix, but to be supportive.

To “let go” is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.

To “let go” is not to be in the middle, arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.

To “let go” is not to deny, but to accept.

To “let go” is not to nag, scold, or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.

To “let go” is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.

To “let go” is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future.

To “let go” is to fear less and to love more.

Phases of the Moon

The worship of the Nitya Devis connected with the phases of the moon is an important aspect of Tantrak worship. The Sun rules our soul and the Moon rules our mind. These two planets cause the lunar phases. The moon is one of the most important planets in astrology. Apart from judging a person from the Lagna, Vedic astrology studies the planetary positions from the moon also. New Moon to Full Moon and back, the changing phases of the Moon rules the mind and our emotions. But Moon plays a lot deeper role in our lives than that. the following is the spiritual and cosmic significance of the phases of the moon.

The Moon has 16 kalas, or phases. Out of these 15 are visible to us and the 16th is beyond our visibility. The 16 kalas are 1.Amrita, 2.Manada,3.Poosha, 4.Tusthi, 5.Pusthi, 6.Rati, 7.Dhruti, 8.Sasichini, 9.Chadrika, 10.Kanta, 11.Jyostna, 12.Shree, 13.Preeti, 14.Angada, 15.Poorna and 16.Poornamruta.

Out of these, the first one, Maha Tripura Sundari is the Devi Para Shakti herself, and hence the kala ruled by her is not visible to the normal mortals. Hence we see only the other 15 kalas or phases ruled by the other nityas. In the Sri Chakra these 15 nityas are present in the innermost circle, and the Devi is in the central bundu. These 15 Nityas rule the famous 15 letters Devi mantra known as Panchadasakshari. These 15 Nityas in the form of the 15 Tithis (Phases) have two aspects each – Prakashamsa, which rules the day portion of the Tithi, and Vimarshamsa, which rules the night part of the Tithi. At night they collect the divine nectar and during the day they release it.
On Poornima or full moon day all the 15 Nityas are in the moon and the moon is shining brightly. On the 1st Thithi after the Poornima, i.e., Pratipada, one Nitya leaves the moon and goes to the sun and the moon is reduced slightly in size. On the next Dwiteeya Tithi another Nitya leaves the moon and goes to the sun and the moon is further reduced in size. This way they leave one by one till the moon becomes totally dark on the 15th day, which is called Amavasya or the new moon day. This is known as Krishna Paksha or the waning phase.

After Amavasya they return one by one on each Tithi and the moon starts shining again till its full on the Poornima when the last Nitya returns to it. This is called Shukla Paksha. Kameswari to Chitra are the Nityas ruling the Krishna Paksha Tithis from Pratipada to Amavasya. In Shukla Paksha the order of the Nityas is reversed, i.e., Chitra to Kameswari.
The Nitya of the Asthami or 8th Tithi, Twarita, is common and constant to both the Pakshas. Hence she adorns the crown of Devi.

The inner triangle of Sri Chakra is known as the Sarva Siddhiprada Chakra and the Nityas are next only to Tripura Sundari in importance. For your information, Kameswari is Goddess Parvati, Vajreswari is Maha Lakshmi and Bhagamalini is Goddess Saraswati !!

One Krishna Paksha and one Shukla Paksha form a 30-day lunar month. 12 such months form a 360-day lunar year. Multiplied by 2 (the day and night aspects of the Nityas/Tithis) we have 720 aspects of the Nitya Devis in a year. This way, they rule the day, the night, the days, months, seasons and the years. Furthermore, each aspect of a Nitya rules 100 Nadis in our body. This way they rule the 72000 Nadies in our body, with ever changing moods and physical results in human lives.
The Nityas or Eternities of Lalita represent the fifteen lunar days or tithis of the waxing Moon. Each has her own yantra, mantra, tantra and prayogas or ritual applications. The full circle of the Nityas also represents the 21,600 breaths a human being takes in a full day and night. As such, the Nityas are the Kalachakra, or Wheel of Time.

The 15 Nityas are modifications of Lalita with her three gunas and her five elements of aether, air, fire, water and earth. As the moon remains itself, though appearing differently according to phase, so too does Lalita. Each Nitya has her own vidya (that is mantra), yantra and group of energies (Shaktis).

The 15 lunar tithis, are to be regarded as identical with the fifteen Nityas (Kameshvari to Citra). The sixteenth Kala called Sadakhya should be viewed as one with Lalita or the Supreme Deity Herself. In other words, one has to feel that what appears in Kalacakra is nothing but an expression of what exists eternally as Nityas in the supreme Sri Cakra itself. The tithi-cakra or the wheel of time is constantly revolving and the Sri Cakra is within it and not without. It should also be remembered that from the standpoint of an esoteric yogin the tithis are in the last analysis to be identified with the 21600 shvasas (breaths) supposed to be the average number of breaths per day of a normal human being.”

Hence Lalita or Tripurasundari is the 16th day or full moon, with her 15 digits. Each of the Nityas has a certain number of arms, the totality of arms (= rays) of the whole circle being 108. Because any unit of time is taken as a microcosm or parallel of any other valid unit, each of the fifteen Nityas thus has 1,440 breaths. This identity between space, time, Tripurasundari and the individual is elaborated at great length in the Tantraraja Tantra.

The Nityas are the vowels of the Sanskrit alphabet and are identical with both time and space. For example, if the number of tattvas or consonants (36) are multiplied by the 16 Nityas the number of letters is 576. The multiples of this number provide the number of years in the different Yugas. So the circle of the matrikas and the Nityas is identical with the sidereal zodiac as well as mantra.

The ancient scriptures Nitya Shodasarnava Tantram, Srividya Vilasam, Vamakeswara Tantram, Tantraraja Tantra and Mantra Ratnakaram have specified that the 15 Nityas must be worshiped in the Srichakra central triangle, anticlockwise, and the 16th Nitya, Maha Tripura Sundari must be worshiped in the Bindu.

Seeing The Sacred In Your Day

Reblogged from: http://www.reflectingalife.com/2012/05/15/seeing-the-sacred-in-your-day/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=seeing-the-sacred-in-your-day

This is sort of a post about God, but only sort of…and for those who have a challenge with even the word you can substitute, the Universe, Higher Self, Higher Power, Spirit or whatever word resonates with you.  As my dear old grandma used to say…a rose by any other name would smell as sweet…or words to that effect.

Have you ever heard of St. Ignatius?  He taught the Jesuits The Daily Examen, which is prayerful reflection on the events of the day in order to detect God’s presence.  A little like a meditation.

St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church - Pennsylvania

Ignatius thought that the Examen was a gift that came directly from God, and that God wanted it to be shared as widely as possible. One of the few rules of prayer that Ignatius made for the Jesuit order was the requirement that  the Examen was practiced twice daily—at noon and at the end of the day. Ending with asking for forgiveness for anything rotten you did, and for guidance for tomorrow.

I liked the concept of  reflecting on my day and here is my own personal version, called revision.

1. I connect with my Divine nature by recognizing the Great Presence within and that there is nothing that this higher self that I am (that you are) cannot accomplish.

2. Review the day; don’t judge it, simply review it. Look over the entire day, all the episodes, all the events, all the conversations, all the meetings, see it clearly in your mind’s eye, and rewrite it. Make it conform to the ideal day you wish you’d experienced. Take scene after scene and rewrite it, revise it, and having revised your day, then, in imagination, re-live that day, the revised day, and do it over and over in your imagination until this seeming imagined state begins to take on the feeling of reality. It seems that it’s real, that you actually did experience it and I have found from experience that these revised days, if really lived, will change our tomorrows.

3.  My prayer means getting into action mentally and holding the attention upon the idea of the wish fulfilled until it fills the mind and crowds all other ideas out of the consciousness. This doesn’t mean that prayer is a mental effort – an act of will. On the contrary, prayer is a surrender. It means abandoning oneself to the feeling of the wish fulfilled. Our thoughts are prayers…we are always praying.

Meditation

4.  Forgiveness is identifying with the ideal we would wish to experience. And so we do to others what we expect or would like the world to do to us.  Whatever I myself would like to embody, that is the vision that I must hold of every man that I meet in my world;  no man is to be discarded, everything can be salvaged, everyone redeemed and I do it by simply identifying the other with the ideal I want to externalize.

Forgive your day, remove the hold that past wrong emotional reactions have upon you by reviewing the experiences and changing them.  Rewrite them in your mind, saying what you wish you’d said and doing what you wished you’d done.

5. Look toward tomorrow from the revised place you’ve just created.

6. Repeat every night.

Maybe if you view it as editing…which I’ve posted about before…it’ll make it easier.  I know revision isn’t the most normal concept in the world.  But hey, who claims to be normal?  An added bonus is that it actually makes a difference.

Encourage one another.
