Learn the Lesson and Let Go!

Learn the Lesson & Let Go

by Yehuda Berg

let-goBecause the lunar year cycle begins at the start of Aries next month, this month of Pisces prepares us for a spiritual rebirth that can make way for new blessings. One powerful way to ready ourselves for this new beginning is by using the sensitive energy of this month to let go of our past, specifically those events in our lives that seem so unfair to us.

It’s easier to take responsibility when we see clearly that we are involved in the creation of our own chaos, but sometimes things happen in life that feel unjust. Maybe we recently lost someone close to us, or were abused as a child and are still suffering from abusive patterns. Whatever the case, there are moments for each one of us that don’t seem like a direct result of our own actions.

Pisces gives us the strength to let go of that baggage.

This month awakens our intuition, as we all become a little like a Piscean, who are natural born navigators of the spiritual system. We can take advantage of this opportunity by choosing to dig deep and feel the pain from our past that we usually keep at bay – but not for the purpose of being a victim. On the contrary, we go into the wound so that we can learn the lesson it was meant to teach us, rechart the course and become victors instead of victims. Now we can move on.

Learning our lessons and letting go of our past opens us up to all the universe has to offer in the present.

By using the power of Pisces to remove any dark clouds of hurt or emptiness, we are given the chance of a real new beginning when Aries arrives next month.

Tantra is the Natural Way To God

Tantra is way to God“Tantra is the natural way to God, the normal way to God. The object is to become so completely instinctual, so mindless, that we merge with ultimate nature – that the woman disappears and becomes a door for the ultimate, the man disappears and becomes a door for the ultimate.

“This is the tantric definition of our sexuality: the return to absolute innocence, absolute oneness. The greatest sexua

l thrill of all is not a search for thrills, but a silent waiting – utterly relaxed, utterly mindless. One is conscious, conscious only of being conscious. One is consciousness. One is contented but there is no content to it. And then there is great beauty, great benediction,

MoolaMantra

Sat Chit Ananda Parabrahma
Purushothama Paramatma
Sri Bhagavathi Sametha
Sri Bhagavathe Namaha

Translation:
Oh Divine Force, Spirit of All Creation,
Highest Personality,
Divine Presence, manifest in every living being.
Supreme Soul manifested as the Divine Mother
and as the Divine Father.

The Peace which passeth understanding.

This mantra evokes the living God, asking protection and freedom from all sorrow and suffering. It is a prayer that adores the great creator and liberator, who out of love and compassion manifests, to protect us, in an earthly form. This Moolamantra has given great peace and joy to people all over the world, who have chanted, or even listened to it. It has the power to transport ones mind to the state of causeless love and limitless joy. The calmness that the mantra can give is to be experienced, not spoken about. Dear reader, here is the key with which any door to spiritual treasure could be opened. A tool which can be used to achieve all desires. A medicine which cures all ills. The nectar that can set man free! All auspiciousness and serenity is yours simply by chanting or listening to this magnificent Moolamantra.

Whenever you chant the Moolamantra even without knowing the meaning of it, that itself carries power. But when you know the meaning and chant with that feeling in your heart then the energy would flow million times more powerful. Therefore it is essential to know the meaning of the Mantra when you use it.

The Mantra is like calling a name. Just like when you call a person he comes and makes you feel his presence, the same manner when you chant this mantra, the supreme energy manifests everywhere around you. As the Universe is Omnipresent, the supreme energy can manifest anywhere and any time. It is also very important to know that the invocation with all humility, respect and with great necessity makes the presence stronger.

 Full Meaning

Om Om has 100 different meanings. It is said ‘In the beginning was the Supreme word and the word created every thing. That word is Om’. If you are meditating in silence deeply, you can hear the sound Om within. The whole creation emerged from the sound Om. It is the primordial sound or the Universal sound by which the whole universe vibrates. Om also means inviting the higher energy. This divine sound has the power to create, sustain and destroy, giving life and movement to all that exist.
Sat Chit Ananda
Sat The all penetrating existence that is formless, shapeless, omnipresent, attribute less, and quality less aspect of the Universe. It is the Un manifest. It is experienced as emptiness of the Universe. We could say it is the body of the Universe that is static. Every thing that has a form and that can be sensed, evolved out of this Un manifest. It is so subtle that it is beyond all perceptions. It can only be seen when it has become gross and has taken form. We are in the Universe and the Universe is in us. We are the effect and Universe is the cause and the cause manifests itself as the effect.
Chit The Pure Consciousness of the Universe that is infinite, omni-present manifesting power of the Universe. Out of this is evolved everything that we call Dynamic energy or force. It can manifest in any form or shape. It is the consciousness manifesting as motion, as gravitation, as magnetism, etc. It is also manifesting as the actions of the body, as thought force. It is the Supreme Spirit.
Ananda Bliss, love and friendship nature of the Universe. When you experience either the Supreme Energy in this Creation (Sat) and become one with the Existence or experience the aspect of Pure Consciousness (Chit), you enter into a state of Divine Bliss and eternal happiness (Ananda). This is the primordial characteristic of the Universe, which is the greatest and most profound state of ecstasy that you can ever experience when you relate with your higher Consciousness.
Parabrahma The Supreme Being in his Absolute aspect; one who is beyond space and time. It is the essence of the Universe that is with form and without form. It is the Supreme creator.
Purushothama This has different meanings. Purusha means soul and Uthama means the supreme, the Supreme spirit. It also means the supreme energy of force guiding us from the highest world. Purusha also means Man, and Purushothama is the energy that incarnates as an Avatar to help and guide Mankind and relate closely to the beloved Creation.
Paramatma The supreme inner energy that is immanent in every creature and in all beings, living and non-living. It’s the indweller or the Antaryamin who resides formless or in any form desired. It’s the force that can come to you whenever you want and wherever you want to guide and help you.
Sri Bhagavathi The female aspect, which is characterized as the Supreme Intelligence in action, the Power (The Shakti). It is referred to the Mother Earth (Divine Mother) aspect of the creation.
Sametha Together or in communion with.
Sri Bhagavathe The Male aspect of the Creation, which is unchangeable and permanent.
Namaha Salutations or prostrations to the Universe that is Om and also has the qualities of Sat Chit Ananda, that is omnipresent, unchangeable and changeable at the same time, the supreme spirit in a human form and formless, the indweller that can guide and help in the feminine and masculine forms with the supreme intelligence. I seek your presence and guidance all the time.

Just Exactly What is Consciousness?

“Consciousness is the ability to be present in your life in every moment, without judgment of you or anyone else. It is the ability to receive everything, reject nothing, and create everything you desire in life – greater than what you currently have, and more than what you can imagine.

Consciousness includes everything and judges nothing.  If you have no judgment of anything, then you get to look at everything for what it is, not for what you want it to be, not for what it ought to be, but just for what it is.”

Sounds hard to me. With all the programming foisted on us by our parents, family members, friends, teachers at school, leaders in the community, and society at large, it’s difficult to know what one’s truth is, let alone live it!

“Although you appear in earthly form, your essence is pure consciousness. You are the fearless guardian of Divine Light.”~ Rumi~

Yoga for the Sexual Priestess

A dear friend of mine and phenomenal musician pointed out that yoga was originally created by man for men.  He and I shared a powerful connection through our dancing and music and he wanted to know what a Tantrika like me was doing teaching a yoga class for women.  Appreciating the profound exchange of Shakti and Shiva energy between us, and his extensive spiritual background I was grateful for his question.  Months later as I offer Yoga for the Sexual Priestess I am realizing how this yoga is unique and distinctly different from many yoga practices.

I notice that many yoga classes today are consciously or unconsciously creating a “masculine” version of the body mind spirit connection.   Some of this can be observed through a focus on fitness, the athletic aesthetic of yoga clothing, the linear forms of many poses, repetition of linear asana sequences, language emphasizing the muscular skeletal system, under-engaging the students creativity, the grid-like spatial structure of class on individual mats.  In addition to this I have also observed that many women yoga teachers are hungry to access their second chakras when they come to my workshops and often have some unlearning to move through to find pleasure.  Coming from a rigorous professional dance background I can appreciate the balance of discipline and pleasure in a consciously attended to body, mind, soul.
The archetype of the Sexual Priestess embodies a Oneness with sex and spirit that brings us into a co-creation with the Great Everything.  Her presence is reemerging because our collective life force is ready to become fertile and whole. Through the Sexual Priestess we are maturing from a mother child relationship with the Earth to a lover relationship with the Earth where we have a greater responsibility as we co-create life.
What is YOGA FOR THE SEXUAL PRIESTESS?
  • Sexual energy is a creative energy. Yoga for the Sexual Priestess engages the following of our body’s instincts as a Creator.  This deepens our awareness of how we are feeling.
  • Cultivating life energy is an erotic and spiritual experience, the full expression of the sacred body and sensual spirit is welcomed through breath and sound as One with the Great Everything.
  •  The language guiding this practice spans systems in our body including the skeletal, soul, organ, sexual, chakra, muscular, collective and ancestral anatomies expanding our personal practice into a whole context.  We enter different states of mind by focusing on specific systems, the language of Yoga for the Sexual Priestess intentionally weaves sex and spirit in the ancestral web for the evolution of trust, love, and passion.
  • Anchoring awareness in the Love and Sex centers, the two hearts that heal, create & nourish life, creates awe & ecstasy.
  •  Rocking, undulating, and vibration are qualities of movement not usually found in a yoga class.  They deeply access our life force energy and naturally occur during embodied transformations including orgasm, deep grieving, and soul shaking laughter.  We use them to invoke transformation.
  • We visit the animal spirit of the poses to remember our resilient and sensual animal instincts.

Tantric Japa Yoga

reblogged: https://www.facebook.com/notes/shajesh-tantra-master/tantric-japa-yoga/449941095594

According to the yogis, there are two nerve currents in the spinal column, called pingala and ida, and a hollow canal called sushumna running through the spinal cord. at the lower end of the hollow canal is what the yogis call the “lotus of the kundalini”. They describe it as triangular in form, in which, in the symbolical language of the yogis, there is a power called the kundalini, coiled up. When the kundalini awakes, it tries to force a passage through this hollow canal, and it rises step by step, as it were, layer of the mind becomes open and all the different visions and wonderful powers come to the yogi. When it reaches the brain, the yogi is perfectly detached from the body and mind; the soul finds itself free. We know that the spinal cord in composed in a peculiar manner. if we take the figure eight horizontally(∞)there is 2 part which are connected in the middle. suppose you add eight after eight, piled one on top of the other, that will represent the spinal cord. The left is the ida, the right pingala, and that hollow canal which runs through the centre of the spinal cord is the sushumna. Where the spinal cord ends in some of the lumbar vertebrae, a fine fibre issues downwards, and the canal runs up even within that fibre, only much finer. The canal is closed at the lower end, which is situated near what is called the sacral plexus, which, according to modern physiology, is triangular in form. The different plexuses that have their centres in the spinal canal can very well stand for the different “lotuses” of the yogi

Tantric japa yoga start with gayatri japa of activation of internal power first. Activation of internal power centers by gayatri japa yoga. The master of gayatri japa yoga know that words are uttered by different parts of the mouth such as, throat (larynx), tongue, teeth, lips and the root of the tougue.during speech, the nerve-fibers of the particular part of the mouth from which sound emits stretch up to different part of the body and put pressure on the corresponding glands. If particular glands of the person concerted are diseased or dysfunctional, he starts stammering while uttering the specific words. There are many large and small, visible and invisible glands in the body. Yogis know that some specific energies lie hidden in these glands, shat chakaras(six energy centre) related to the sushumana are quite well known but there are several other such glands in the body. His utterance of different words has its impact on different glands and such impact stimulates the energy of these glands. Mantra has been composed on this basis. There are twenty-four letters in gayatri mantra, which are related to twenty-four such glands located in the body, which, on getting stimulated, activate and awaken the power of righteous wisdom. By uttering gayatri mantra the sitar (some thing make musical)of the subtle(sooksham (spiritual body) )body of the sadhak(person who doing japa) stars playing, tinkling at twenty four points, creating sound waves which impact important elements of the invisible world. It is this impact, which becomes more and more pronounced and tangible through gayatri japa yoga.

The flow of sound of these twenty-four letters of the gayatri mantra is of deep significance. The experts of the science of sound know the power hidden in sound and the results, which can be achieved by its subtle vibrations. Sound is synonymous with Brahma(universal energy). It is Brahma from whom the original first creative vibration issues fort resulting in 108-time chating of OM. Just as the pendulum of a clock keeps on moving by swinging to and fro, in the same way the sound waves of OM create vibrations which regulate this creation. And this vibrations respectively flow in this current. It is further divided into branches and sub branches which are known as BEEJA_MANTRA. The letters, words and clauses of gayatri mantra have been seen by a seer vision and emanate from the unified field of creative energy, arranged in a specific and special sequence and inter-relationship. Chanted with sincere devotion, they plug the sadhaks soul into the supreme and inexhaustible fount of spiritual energy.

The vibrations of a specific sound spread in the ether and attract atoms of similar type and return to their origin within few moments, duly charged with appropriate energy which exercises curative impact in the appropriate area. This is how mantras accomplish miraculous effects. The chanting of gayatri mantra activates the network of nerves in the mouth and stimulates specific glands. No sooner do they get stimulated, a vedic symphony is created which spreads in the ether, takes a round of the entire universe, coming back to the source with its energy augmented manifold, capable of fulfilling the desired purpose. Gayatri sadhana. Thus, become a spiritual as well as a material boon for the sadhak.

Gayatri activates the twenty-four divine qualities . With their growth, varied accomplishments.(siddhis) and prosperity start manifesting in the life of the person. Most of the people think that some god or goddess is bestowing these gifts because they are unable to see and understand the working of these subtle divine energies and the transformations flowing therefrom. Once they understand that transformations are taking place as a result of their own sadhana they would realise that it is not by way of some unexpected gift from somewhere but is the result of a well organized scientific process of spiritual growth.

Tantric japa yoga starts with Gayatri mantra chanting. And the most remarkable result of gayatri japa that the eternal energy of body and mind is the basic source of the origin and functioning of the miraculous living laboratory existing in a human being.

By gayatri mantra, chanting and meditations will make happy and healthy state of the mind and body as melodious tunes produced by the divine vina . This mantra sound loses its order and become unclear in the negative states of tension, anger, sickness, etc.

Tantric japa yoga is not based on blind faith but has a solid scientific basis.

Japa means the repetition of a mantra. A mantra is a sound structure of one or more syllables which represents a particular aspect of the divine vibration. Concentrated mental repetition of a mantra produces vibrations within the individuals entire system, which are in tune with the divine vibration.

12 Steps to Spiritual Awakening

1. We realized we were powerful but that our EGOs had become unmanageable. (Sounds like AA, doesn’t it?)

2. Came to believe that a power greater than our EGOs could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to align our will and our lives with our SOURCE of LOVE and LIGHT as we intuitively understood IT.

4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of our desires for ourselves.

5. Submitted ourselves to Higher forms of guidance other than human beings who judged our true nature as wrong.

6. Were entirely ready to remove all defective teachings and beliefs from our character.

7. Humbly removed ourselves from judging any experiences as shortcomings but only as lessons.

8. Made a list of all the ways we could express LOVE and began to fulfill them all.

9. Expressed direct LOVE towards people wherever possible without exception.

10. Continued to monitor our thoughts and actions and when we were out of alignment with SOURCE/GOD, promptly quieted our EGOs and regained our balance.

11. Sought though prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with our SOURCE of LOVE and LIGHT as we understood IT, praying only for knowledge of TRUTH and the WISDOM to use it.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we carry this message into the ALL-ONEness and practice these principles in all our affairs.

Love Lost?

Love Lost?
Love lost is never so,
it’s merely redirected.
Passion’s wings can rise again,
with flight of love effected.

Love’s perfection removes fear,
the imperfection shows connection
to some endearing spirit, albeit
lacking variable, minus equation

The memories of love felt as such
are ever catalyst for
the sending of sweet energy
on loves lost, altered course.

Peace for memories of the past
let the peaceful memories last
with grace allowing for
the present open door.

THREADING…

Tantric rituals are among the most important practices used by Tantrikas to elevate, glorify and offer their love and respect to the Divine Goddess. There are many rituals in the ancient path of Tantra Yoga. One of the purposes on this blog is to demystify some of the esoteric practices and understand how Tantra is a path of expansion, leading to deep personal awakening. The Threading Ritual is used to connect us to one another. It’s difficult to attain that strength of energy surge without threads or without a tantrik.

You tie one end of one thread on one nipple, let it fall down, wind it between your yoni and ass cheeks and all the way round your back over your shoulder. Tie the other end of first thread to the second nipple. Now reverse it for the second thread. This uses the threads a energy channels. Then various postures & body movements are done; they are all normal postures involving gyration of hips, to churn the energy in the chakras.

Be Aware

To be aware is to watch your bodily activity, the way you walk, the way you sit, the movements of your hands; it is to hear the words you use, to observe all your thoughts, all your emotions, all your reactions. It includes awareness of the unconscious, with its traditions, its instinctual knowledge, and the immense sorrow it has accumulated—not only personal sorrow, but the sorrow of man. You have to be aware of all that; and you cannot be aware of it if you are merely judging, evaluating, saying, “This is good and that is bad, this I will keep and that I will reject,” all of which only makes the mind dull, insensitive.
